Our Story
Premium quality standards are central to SPEG’s mission. SPEG is a consortium of Ghana’s leading producers and exporters of pineapples and other fruits, currently supplying markets in Europe, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and North Africa via reefer vessels and air freight. The organization supports its members in upholding premium quality standards, achieving certifications such as GlobalGAP and other relevant benchmarks, and coordinating efficient shipping arrangements. SPEG members also collaborate in the marketing of their produce across the European Union, the Middle East, and beyond.
